Pros and Conns: The Growth and Death of Fertilizer

This project was one of the most interesting and creatively free that I've ever been assigned. My group and I were able to choose an issue that we felt was important and portray it in the way we felt would get our message across. I really enjoyed putting the whole project together.

Our podcast focused on the impact on algae blooms in local ecosystems, as well as a national scale. We detailed the effects that fertilizer can have on different bodies of water in terms of an increase in algae. Overall, it was a lot of work to put together but the final product was worth it.
